What’s up guys lets talk about practicing your craft and understanding your abilities. You ever found yourself reciting your music over and over again
to the point you are able you remember it line for line perfectly? Thats exactly where it hones in at but when it comes your craft, you want to
be able to diversify whatever you put in your mind to come out cohesively. This means putting in the time and effort to try new things, visit new places
and also collaborate in the field which you specialize with others. I know sometimes it can be a pain in the ass working with certain people but
place yourself with like minded individual.
When you practice your craft think of it as building up muscles in the gym. Also the more you know the more you grow don’t be a stagnant so long
to where it stuns your growth in this game. Take it from me I been producing for 8 years and I open my laptop, turn on my midi board and open
my program. Sometimes the music I make doesn’t come out as exactly plan but I learn from where I go wrong. Remember like Denzel Washington
said in Equalizer to the young man that wanted to become a security officer, “progression not perfection.
You probably think why not perfection? Because you are always prone to make mistakes and progress is the be path toward perfection.
Plus perfection shouldn’t be the primary focus, discipline to grow gradually should be.
Its nothing you can’t do in the is world. You have the ability to do or be what and who you want. Why settle for average?
Everyday is an opportunity waiting for you to go get it. Whatever you are rapping, producing, marketing etc. progress at it and
endure the challenge. They say you increase you luck when you are prepare for the opportunity. So don’t waste precious time pitty patting
and laying down on the job. You have a destiny to fulfill.
Also remember as you make connections within your network. You will have the access to the knowledge of other like minded people to get to the
next level or to try something different. Ideas can come from anywhere and wherever there is an idea you can use it as a tool for betterment.
Don’t hesitate to ask question when you don’t have the answer. Sometimes its best to keep people in your corner who you can trust to give you
the empowerment that is necessary for your improvement.
